Collection: Superstops

The OEM Steering Stops Are a Known Failure Point. Superstops Fix That.

Your KTM 1290 Superduke came with steel steering stops — small tabs welded to the frame that limit how far the bars can swing. They work fine, until they don't. Those tabs are positioned very close to the steering head pivot, which means your wide bars have enormous leverage when they swing hard. In a tank slapper — or a crasj — that leverage can snap the tab clean off the frame.

When that happens: your wrists hit the tank. Your bars hit the tank. Your expensive electronic controls get destroyed. And all hell breaks loose.

Superstops help hugely here.   They've been developed, tested, crashed and crashed over multiple seasons - leaving you with the best solution out there.

Why Superstops Work Better

  • Rubber construction — deadens the blow of swinging bars instead of taking a hard impact like steel. In a tank slapper, that energy absorption can make the difference between a scare and a crash.
  • Better mounting geometry — Superstops mount on the frame, farther from the steering pivot than the OEM tabs. More distance = less leverage = far less force on the mount. They simply will not break off the way OEM stops do.
  • Four stackable spacers — dial in exactly how much bar rotation you want. Stack more spacers to limit rotation for smaller, less scary tank slappers. Use fewer for maximum maneuverability in tight spaces. Your bike, your choice.

Who Needs Superstops?

If you ride hard, ride on track, or just want to protect your controls and your tank from a known failure point — Superstops are a no-brainer upgrade.
