Should I Just Raise the Rear of My Super Duke Instead of Buying Triple Clamps?

Attacking all of a motorcycle's handling problems by addressing only one end of the bike is fundamentally flawed. Yes, you can reduce the massive amount of trail the OEM Super Duke comes with by jacking the rear ride height way up, but obviously, you can only do that so much before you ruin the rear geometry.

Without an adjustable triple clamp, you might end up raising the rear past what is optimum for the shock and swingarm just because you are chasing a better steering feel for the front. That happens whenever you try to adjust the rear to fix the front, or the front to fix the rear. The best bet is to adjust these elements directly.

This is why the Superclamp is a brilliant solution. It achieves easier turning and higher roll speeds not by forcing the rear end higher, but by addressing the front end directly. The Superclamp allows you to change your trail (a very rare thing to be able to do) without negatively affecting any other element of your setup.
